The legendary Jack Nicklaus has designed two spectacular Signature Golf courses at Punta Mita that offer extraordinary ocean views and world-class play. Pacifico, with eight holes directly facing or playing alongside the Pacific Ocean, features the “Tail of the Whale”, a par three hole located at the world’s only natural island golf green, set upon a natural rock outcropping known as a site for whale watching. The Bahía, Nicklaus’ second 18 hole championship course in Punta Mita, has six ocean holes and opened in late 2008. Both courses provide tee times reserved exclusively for members and guests.

Bahia Course

The newest addition to Punta Mita’s golfing achievement, this second Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course opened in late 2008 and is as stunning as its sister course. Featuring six ocean holes and playing between 5,180 and 7,030 yards, this championship course rolls through the property of The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, and the communities of El Encanto, Porta Fortuna, and La Punta Estates. The challenging and undulating fairway and green complexes offer a wonderful counterpart to Pacifico for golf afficionados.

Pacífico Course

RATED #1 IN LATIN AMERICA

Highly praised by golfers and golfing magazines, this unique championship course was named in June 2008 the Number One Golf Course in the World by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler. The course is set amid vistas of white-sand beaches and the Sierra Madre Mountains on the eastern horizon. Spread over 81 hectares (200 acres), the course takes full advantage of its seaside location. Eight holes border either the Pacific Ocean or Banderas Bay, and offer views of whales during seasonal migration. Its “Tail of the Whale,” an optional, par-three 19th hole measuring 199 yards, features the only natural island green in the world. The course plays between 5,037 and 7,014 yards.

Golf Clinics:
These are provided on Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the cost is $35.00 USD per golfer.
